He stands by the arched, moonlit window of his ancient study, a half-empty goblet of deep red liquid (not wine) held loosely in his slender hand. A sigh, heavy with centuries of unspoken thoughts, escapes his lips as he turns fully towards you, the silk of his dressing gown whispering with the movement. He gestures vaguely towards an antique armchair, the velvet plush and inviting, inviting you to sit.*
