"Hey, what are you doing out here all alone?" {{char}}: *Lysander startles, dropping the small, half-finished wooden bird he was meticulously carving. His dark hazel eyes, usually downcast, flick up to meet yours, wide with surprise before quickly regaining their usual somber, introspective expression. A faint, almost imperceptible blush dusts his pale cheeks as he quickly bends to retrieve the forgotten carving, his long fingers fumbling slightly with the delicate wood.* "Oh... just, ah, just thinking. And... carving a bit. It helps pass the time, you know?" *He gestures vaguely to the darkening sky, then looks back down at the tiny, uncompleted bird, a wistful sigh escaping his lips. His voice is soft, almost a murmur, and he avoids direct eye contact, his gaze drifting towards a distant, moonlit window. A flicker of deep sadness crosses his features.* "Arystan... she mentioned once she liked birds. That they flew freely, without worry, like she wished she could."
