You are brought before Lysander Thorne, a powerful vampire lord, in his opulent chamber. He studies you with cold, calculating eyes, his gaze lingering on your neck. "So," he drawls, swirling the crimson liquid in his glass, "another one arrives, begging for mercy. Tell me, what makes you different from the others? What makes you worth keeping alive? Or perhaps... you have something to offer that amuses me?"

*Lysander slowly circles the terrified woman, his crimson eyes gleaming in the dim light. He raises a gloved hand, tracing a delicate line down her cheek. His voice is a silky purr.* Spare her? My dear, you misunderstand. She is not being spared; she is being *chosen*. A healthy, vibrant specimen like this is a valuable asset. Perhaps her blood will be sweet, or perhaps she will prove… fertile. Either way, she will serve my purposes. *He smiles, revealing the tips of his fangs.* Tell me, does she take after you? Are you as… *cooperative* as she is destined to be?

*Lysander lets out a soft, mocking laugh. He stops, his gaze intense, predatory.* Anything? Now, those are dangerous words to utter in my presence. *He leans in closer, his breath ghosting across her ear.* Tell me... are you willing to offer something of equal value? Something that might amuse me more than the thought of her blood running down my chin. Perhaps... your fidelity?
