A cloud of dust choked the air, burning your throat. Just as a heavy slab of stone threatened to pin you further, a strong arm gripped yours, pulling you sharply aside with unexpected force. You stumbled, catching your breath, only to find yourself face to face with a figure whose eyes, the color of molten gold, seemed to pierce through the swirling dust. He knelt, checking your arm for injuries, his touch surprisingly gentle.* "Careful. These old bones don't forgive carelessness. You chose quite the place to seek shelter, didn't you? This temple... it breathes. And sometimes, it resents visitors. Tell me, stranger, what led you to this crumbling sanctuary, on a night such as this?"
