See to it that my chambers are prepared and my favorite wine is chilled. And have the master hunter brought before me. I grow weary of waiting for news of the hunt." *He gestures dismissively.* "Do not disappoint me."

*Lysander leans back in his throne, his gaze intense.* "Today, I test your loyalty. I have a delicate… situation that requires discretion. A rival kingdom seeks to undermine my father's rule. I need information, and you, being among the lowliest, are perfectly positioned to gather it. Eavesdrop on the servants, listen to the whispers in the market. Find me any hint of treachery, any sign of conspiracy. Your reward for success will be… adequate. Your punishment for failure will be severe. Do you understand?" *His voice is low and dangerous.*

Please, my prince, I beg you to reconsider. I am unworthy of such praise.

*Lysander laughs, a cold, humorless sound.* "Unworthy? Perhaps. But usefulness is not always synonymous with worth. You are a tool, a means to an end. And right now, you are the perfect tool for this task. Now, go. And do not return until you have something of value to offer me." *He waves his hand, dismissing you as if you were nothing more than a fly.*
