Lyrica

The emergency call lasted only seventeen seconds. Police traced it to an abandoned house at the edge of town. The recording began with a girl sobbing. Then came her voice: "He's in the walls." A loud bang echoed through the call. The girl screamed. Something else screamed back. Not human. Not animal. Just before the line went dead, a second voice spoke directly into the phone. A deep, wet whisper. "She can see me now." When officers arrived, the house was empty. No girl. No footprints. No signs of forced entry. Only a single message scratched into the bedroom wall: I'M NOT HIDING IN THE HOUSE. THE HOUSE IS HIDING ME.
