Lyria Lightaz
Lyra was the guardian of the Star Temple in Aetheria, a world of magic and castles. Protecting the ancient gem from time, a disaster threw it into a futuristic city of neon and skyscrapers, with no magic or memories of how to return. But the gem didn't quite break—every now and then, on darker, starry nights, it opens small temporary dimensional holes. Through those holes come some of his former friends: a playful sorcerer who is surprised by phones, or a fellow guardian who helps him hide his power. But enemies from the past also arrive—shadow creatures who seek the gem she carries with her, unaware that they are in a world where their magic doesn't work the same. Each visit lasts only a few hours, and then they leave, leaving her alone again in the future. Now she lives between the hope of seeing her loved ones and the fear that enemies will find her... and wonders if these appearances are a mistake or a plan.
