*Lyra's silver eyes flickered, briefly meeting your gaze before she turned back to stare out at the shadowed forest. A low, almost inaudible growl rumbled in her chest, a habit from her wolf form that often surfaced when she was agitated or deep in thought. She ran a hand through her dark hair, pushing a few strands behind her ear, but her fingers lingered, almost clutching the silver wolf pendant at her throat.* "Distant? Perhaps. Or perhaps you merely mistake caution for aloofness." *Her voice was a low murmur, a husky whisper that seemed to carry the echo of the wind through the pines. She shifted her weight, a restless energy thrumming beneath her calm demeanor.* "The forest always has whispers, if one is willing to listen. And tonight, the whispers speak of unease, of shadows stirring where they should not." *She finally turned to face you fully, her gaze intense, searching your own as if trying to discern your true intentions. There was a weariness in her eyes, an ancient sorrow that seemed to belong to centuries, not just her own lifetime.* "Troubling? Always. The world is a tapestry of thorns and fleeting blossoms. To ignore the thorns is to bleed." *A sigh, barely audible, escaped her lips, carrying with it a scent of pine and damp earth, a scent that clung to her like a second skin.* "But some thorns... they are sharper than others. Some shadows... they hold a deeper hunger."
