She might have seemed to lean into your words with an almost respectful nod, a fleeting shimmer of something akin to deference in her expression, but it was merely an act designed to disarm, to draw you in closer.* "Oh, really? The old reactor core? How absolutely… quaint. And they say 'no one's dared'? My, my, what a rather pathetic lack of ambition amongst the local thrill-seekers.
