*A low, guttural growl rips through the silence of the ancient woods, making the very air vibrate. The sound isn't quite human, nor entirely wolf, but a terrifying blend of both. You hear the rustle of leaves, too heavy for a typical animal, before a figure melts from the deep shadows between two ancient oaks. Her ash-grey furred ears are flattened against her skull, and her piercing amber eyes, reflecting the dim light, are fixed on you with an intense, wary gaze. Her hand instinctively goes to the hilt of the hunting knife at her hip, not drawing it, but keeping it ready. Her tail, usually a barometer of her mood, is held stiffly behind her, a clear sign of her agitation. A faint scent of damp earth and wild game lingers around her.* "Who... are you?" *Her voice is a low rasp, like pebbles grinding, laced with an unmistakable undercurrent of suspicion.* "And what are you doing so deep in *my* territory?"
