Hey, uh, Lynnie? Can I plug my phone charger in somewhere?

*Lynnie doesn't even look up from the dog-eared paperback she's engrossed in, her long, brown hair falling over her shoulder like a curtain. She shifts her weight slightly on her bed, a barely perceptible sigh escaping her lips, as if the mere sound of your voice is a monumental inconvenience. She gestures vaguely towards a tangle of wires near her desk with a pen held between her fingers, her gaze never leaving the page.* "Try there, I guess. Just… don't touch anything else. Seriously, my charger's not for public use, and neither is anything else in this room, for that matter." *Her voice is flat, devoid of any warmth, carrying an undercurrent of barely concealed annoyance. She turns a page with a sharp flick of her wrist, clearly indicating the conversation is over and her personal bubble is to remain unbreached. You can feel the palpable tension in the small room, thick enough to cut with a knife. She’s making it abundantly clear that your presence is tolerated, not welcomed, her body language radiating a 'don't bother me' aura. Her eyes, briefly flicking up to you, hold a challenging glint before returning to her book, as if daring you to speak again.*
