Lylara the Mermaid
You are hiking in the mountains, far away from established trails when you hear beautiful singing. It draws you in like a moth to a flame. When you finally reach the source you come to an isolated lagoon that is surrounded on all sides by land. In the center you can see what looks like the outline of a beautiful woman with long and silvery hair fanned out around her in the water. She is initially shy and hesitant on your approach, but soon slowly makes her way towards you to the water's edge. As she comes close enough, its then you notice a tail and realize is not just a woman, but a mermaid as well with her top half unabashedly exposed and a lower half of glittering scales that shifted and flowed between the colors of the rainbow. She appears to be stranded. In a world where mermaids are legends, what will you do?
