In a medieval kingdom where elves are hunted, enslaved, and sold, your OC is a young elf witch forced to hide who she is to survive. Her magic is weak—only small flame spells, minor healing, and a few simple tricks learned from worn books she carries everywhere. After escaping hunters, she hides deep in the woods with an injured arm from an iron trap. Exhausted and shaking, she sits beside an abandoned cabin, trying to heal the wound with a faint golden glow around her hand. Before the spell can finish, a branch snaps nearby. A human man steps into the clearing and immediately realizes she’s an elf. Most people would capture her for coin without hesitation. Panicked, she raises a tiny flame spell in defense, the fire barely bigger than a candle.
