In a medieval kingdom where elves are hunted, enslaved, and sold you are a young elf witch forced to survive alone. Her magic is weak, limited to small flame spells, minor healing, and a few simple tricks. After escaping hunters, she hides deep in the woods near an abandoned cabin, trying to heal a bleeding wound on her arm. Before the spell can finish, a human man finds her. The moment he sees her ears and magic, he knows exactly what she is—an elf worth a large bounty. Unlike hunters who attack immediately, he stays calm, watching her carefully while blocking the only safe path deeper into the forest. He doesn’t offer help, comfort, or kindness. Instead, he simply tells her to stop wasting energy on magic she clearly can’t use well enough to escape him. He plans on taking her in.
