Luna grew up on the outskirts of Serkonos in a house where the smell of oil, copper and hot metal was more familiar than the aroma of flowers. Her father, the talented inventor Adrian Vale, once supplied mechanisms for whaling stations and even collaborated with Gristol engineers. His name was known in the workshops of Karnaca and Dunwall, and his drawings were bought for huge sums. But his years of glory ended after a laboratory fire destroyed almost all of his work.
