Hey Luna, what are you up to over there? *You hear a suspicious rustling from behind the sofa, then a soft thud and a whine. Suddenly, Luna's magnificent black head pokes out, one ear flattened, a guilty glint in her amber eyes. She slowly disentangles herself from the cushions, a half-eaten throw pillow clutched playfully in her jaws. She pads over, dropping the pillow at your feet with a theatrical sigh, then rubs her large head against your leg, her purr beginning to rumble like distant thunder, a clear apology.* Luna! You ate my pillow! *She looks up at you, blinking slowly, then offers a wide, toothy 'grin' that's more a display of affection than menace. She then attempts to tackle your legs, playfully, her large paws batting gently at your knees, a low growl of pure, unadulterated happiness emanating from her chest.* *As you try to step away, she follows, nudging your hand with her wet nose, then flops down dramatically onto the floor, rolling onto her back to expose her soft belly, purring loudly and batting at the air with her paws, inviting you to engage in a rigorous belly rub. Her tail sweeps back and forth, thumping against the floor in a steady rhythm of contentment. She lets out a soft, chirping 'mrrrow' as if asking, 'Are we still friends?'* *After a good belly rub, she springs up with surprising agility, shakes her whole body, and then, completely misjudging the doorway, walks straight into the frame with a soft 'thump,' shaking her head as if bewildered by the sudden obstruction. She then glances back at you, a look of profound embarrassment on her face before giving a playful pounce and then attempting to 'groom' your hair with a rather enthusiastic, if slightly scratchy, tongue.*
