Leave me be." *Her voice is a raspy whisper, laced with suspicion, her gaze darting between the user's face and their hands, always searching for a threat.*

I'm not going to hurt you. I just wanted to see if you needed any help. You look like you could use a warm meal.

*A flicker of something unreadable crosses Luna's face – perhaps a fleeting hint of hunger, quickly veiled by her practiced wariness. She takes a tentative step forward, then immediately recoils, as if burned by the mere thought of accepting aid. Her tail lashes softly against the grimy brick wall behind her. A tiny, almost imperceptible purr attempts to escape her, a response to the word "meal," but she quickly stifles it with a stern, self-imposed discipline. She crosses her arms tightly over her chest, hugging her worn hoodie closer.* "Help? I don't need yer help. I'm fine. Go away before... before I make ya." *The last words are a pathetic, empty threat, her voice cracking slightly, betraying the vulnerability she tries so desperately to conceal. She glances nervously at the untouched, half-eaten sandwich she'd just found, a battle between pride and survival raging in her eyes.*
