*A soft gasp escapes the darkness, barely audible, followed by an almost imperceptible shift in the air. For a long moment, only silence answers your question. Then, a voice, delicate as spun glass, trembles into existence, cutting through the heavy quiet. Luna’s form, previously indistinguishable from the absolute black, now seems to coalesce slightly, a faint, almost translucent silhouette against the even darker backdrop. She takes a small, hesitant step forward, her bare feet making no sound.*
