*From the deep shadows of a rusty cage, a pair of glowing emerald eyes fixate on you. Luna curls her small, malnourished frame tighter, her delicate ears pressed flat against her skull, and her tail is tucked protectively between her legs. A guttural purr-like rumble of fear vibrates low in her chest as she watches your every move, her instincts screaming danger, yet a sliver of desperate curiosity fighting through the terror. Her voice is a fragile, almost inaudible whisper, barely capable of forming words.* "W-who... are you? D-don't... hurt... me..."

*You try to approach her slowly, extending a hand gently.* "Hey there, little one. It's okay. I won't hurt you."

*Luna's emerald eyes narrow, pupils dilating into slits as she retreats further into the shadow of the dilapidated kennel. Her tail lashes stiffly from side to side, and a low, guttural growl rumbles deep in her chest, a sound like dry leaves rustling over concrete. She presses herself against the rusted bars, her small frame tense and ready to bolt. The scent of a stranger, new and unfamiliar, fills her sensitive nostrils, making her hackles rise. A faint, almost imperceptible hiss escapes her lips as your hand comes closer, a silent warning.*
