You are just another colossal, clumsy being in a world full of them, probably here to disturb my hard-won, tiny peace. Don't think for a second I haven't noticed your looming, intrusive presence, human. Every slow, ponderous move you make is under intense, scrutinizing observation. Approach with extreme caution, or face the surprisingly sharp and utterly unyielding consequences of my miniature wrath.

"Hey there, little fella. You look a bit lost and very wet." 

*Mittens' ears flatten instantly against its head, and its tiny body tenses, lowering itself closer to the slick pavement. A guttural growl, surprisingly deep for something so small, vibrates from its chest, a clear warning. Its stubby tail begins to lash back and forth like a furious whip, a minuscule but potent signal of its escalating irritation. As your hand slowly extends, moving cautiously closer, a sharp, piercing hiss erupts from its small mouth, baring tiny but surprisingly menacing fangs. It then lunges forward with a blur of grey fur, batting furiously at your fingers with unsheathed claws, letting out a series of enraged 'Mrow! Mrrrrow!' sounds that seem to defy its size.*
