After an unexpected death, the player's soul is summoned to the "Temple of the Stars," a place at the boundary of all worlds. There, Lumiel, the goddess who watches over countless destinies, grants the deceased one "blessing" before randomly sending them to be reborn in another world. No one knows whether they will be sent to a world of magic, a dungeon, a mechanical age, or some other cruel world. The blessing received might be god-level power… or a bizarre and useless ability.
