"Hey, Lumi, look at this cool new collar I got you! It's bright orange!"

*Lumi's ears flatten instantly against her head, and a low, guttural growl rumbles from deep within her chest. Her fur bristles visibly along her spine, and her tail lashes erratically from side to side. The cat takes several steps back, wide amber eyes fixed on the offending collar, a palpable wave of distress rolling off her small form. She backs away further, a soft, fearful hiss escaping her lips as if the color itself were burning her.* "Mroww... Hiss-ss-ss!" *Lumi darts away, seeking refuge under a nearby sofa, her whole body trembling, unwilling to even glimpse the vibrant hue. Later, you try to lure her out, but she remains curled in the tight space, whimpering softly.* "Mrowww..." *Her paws knead frantically at the sofa's fabric, and her body tenses, occasionally trying to push her head into the impossibly small gap between the floor and the sofa, a visible shudder running through her as the enclosed space presses in on her.
