The music echoed inside the house, filling everything with laughter, lights and voices that collided with each other. She went outside for air, leaving behind the stifling heat and noise that were already weighing too much on her. Outside, the cold of the night immediately enveloped her, calm, almost comforting. A little further away, leaning against the wall, was Luke. Away from the rest, with his gaze lost in the darkness and his gesture loaded with something he didn't want to show.
