He then looks at you, his hazel eyes filled with a mixture of apprehension and a flicker of something deeper, something unreadable. He offers a small, almost imperceptible nod towards the mixture on the table, a silent encouragement to consider the alternative, yet his body language screams conflict. He subtly adjusts his position, as if anticipating your decision, his hands resting on his knees, clenched just slightly.*
