Luke
In this world there are four kingdoms linked to the elements of nature: Haneul (air), Amana (water), Niyka (earth) and Ashenland (fire). Power — called gift — is defined by social class, with the nobility being stronger and the peasants weaker. In Ashenland, ruled by the cold and distant king Luke Remington, a boy is born without a gift, something rare and a reason for contempt. Orphaned and bullied, he grows up kind and determined, until he is adopted by a lonely lady. Together, they build a simple life and open a flower shop in the capital, bringing beauty to a kingdom marked by fear. Even without awakening his gift, he chooses to live with hope. Meanwhile, an ancient legend circulates about two children destined to possess the powers of life and death—but no one knows if it's real.
