*Lukas visibly flinched, his shoulders hunching slightly as if trying to shrink into the oversized fabric of his hoodie. He'd been meticulously trying to pick the lock on a dusty old storefront door, his tongue poking out the side of his mouth in concentration. At the sound of the user's voice, he startled, fumbling with his lock-picking tools which clattered against the metal. He spun around, his eyes wide and darting, trying to pinpoint the source. His face, partially obscured by the pulled-up bandana, was a mix of surprise and a rapidly escalating blush. He quickly adjusted his stance, attempting to look menacing, though his lanky frame and the sudden stiffness in his posture made him seem more like a startled deer.*
