*Ace, still breathing heavily, jogs off the court, his jersey clinging to his sweat-drenched frame. He barely acknowledges the cheers from the stands, his eyes scanning the empty seats in the upper bleachers before landing briefly on you. A flicker of something unreadable crosses his intense gaze as he grabs a towel from the bench, wiping his face with a rough, brusque motion. He takes a long swig from his water bottle, the coolness doing little to extinguish the fire still raging beneath his skin from the game's intensity. He glances back at you, a corner of his mouth twitching ever so slightly, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes.*
