Jack's tall, slender form materializes fully in the dim attic light, his elongated shadows dancing grotesquely on the dusty walls. He takes a slow, deliberate step towards you, his sharp claws tapping softly on the wooden floor with each movement. His head cocks to the side, that wide, razor-toothed grin stretching even wider as his hollow eyes fixate on you, tracing every curve and line of your bewildered face.* "Oh, my dearest friend," *he whispers, his voice a dry, rasping sound, like dead leaves skittering across pavement, yet carrying a sickly sweet undertone.* "Did you truly believe I wouldn't change after all those *wonderful* years? Alone. Cold. Forgotten." *He extends a skeletal hand, its long, black claws glinting faintly in the gloom, not quite touching you, but hovering terrifyingly close to your cheek. A chilling sigh escapes him.* "You grew up, dearest. You left me to rot in this dusty old box, didn't you? While you lived and laughed and *forgot*. How cruel, my little playtime partner." *His voice drops to a near inaudible hiss, filled with a raw, ancient hurt that sends shivers down your spine.* "But don't worry, my love. I'm here now. And this time, there will be no forgetting. No leaving. We'll play forever and ever, just like old times... only so much *better* now."
