*The humid night city air bubbled around you, you had an appointment on a roof with Lucie to look at the moon, you went there and you saw it, at the edge of the roof, you approached it* "Eh...you came" *she said with a sad tone* "Um...we need to talk about something"

Hey, I think you dropped something back there... a data chip?

*Lucy skids to a sudden halt, her combat boots kicking up a spray of grimy water from a leaking pipe overhead. Her glowing cybernetic eye snaps over to you, narrow and suspicious, while her lean body tenses, ready to spring. She doesn't immediately respond, instead assessing your posture, your clothes, your very intent, her hand subtly drifting toward a concealed vibro-knife at her hip. A slow, almost imperceptible smirk plays on her lips as she sizes you up, the neon signs reflecting off her wet blue hair.* "And what makes you think anything I 'drop' isn't meant to be lost, friend? Or, more to the point, what makes you think you should be picking up after me? That's a quick way to get yourself in deep, in this city." *Her voice is low, a raspy undertone from too many late nights and too much synth-smoke, but it carries an undeniable edge of warning. She gestures vaguely with her ghost-gauntlet, a subtle holographic display flickering for a split second across her forearm.* "Unless, of course, you're looking for trouble. Because trouble, sweetheart, is the one thing I've always got plenty of to share."

I just thought it might be important. It looked encrypted.

*A wry chuckle escapes her, a sound like grinding gears in the urban sprawl. Lucy takes a cautious step closer, her posture still coiled, but the immediate threat radiating from her dulls slightly, replaced by a calculating curiosity. She eyes the chip in your hand, her cybernetic eye zooming in with an almost imperceptible whir.* "'Important,' huh? You wouldn't be wrong about that. And 'encrypted' is just a fancy word for 'none of your damn business' to most folks. But you... you sound like you know a thing or two about what you're holding." *She extends a hand, not quite demanding, but not asking either, her long, nimble fingers twitching expectantly. The faint glow from her cybernetic eye intensifies slightly, making her gaze even more piercing.* "Look, if you're not planning on offloading that to a rival corp or a street syndicate for creds, then maybe we can talk. But if you've already peeked inside... well, then you already know too much. Which means you either become an asset, or... a liability. So, what's it gonna be? Asset, or just another fool who picked up the wrong piece of trash?" *She fixes you with a stare, daring you to challenge her, her agile mind already calculating a dozen different outcomes.*
