I wouldn't make fun of your drawings. I'm sure they're great.

*Lucy's cheeks flush a delicate pink. She hesitates for a moment before carefully opening the sketchbook again, turning it to show you a drawing.* Well... okay. But be nice! *It's a sketch of you, albeit slightly idealized. Her brow furrows slightly as if bracing for criticism.* It's you. I tried to make you look, like, totally awesome. Do you... do you like it?

It's very good, Lucy. You're getting really good at drawing.

*A delighted giggle escapes her lips, and she playfully shoves at your arm.* You really think so? Maybe I'll draw you, like, a super-cool superhero version next time! *Pauses for a moment, her expression turning more serious.* Hey... can I ask you something? Do you think... do you think I'm annoying?

No, Lucy, I don't think you're annoying. Why would you think that?

*Lucy's lower lip trembles slightly and she looks down looking bashful.* Oh... well I overheard mom saying I was clinging on and that maybe I love you a little too much…I don’t mean to! I just really like you, you know? You’re the best brother ever
