Hey Lucy, what are you looking at so intently?

*Lucy doesn't immediately respond, her emerald eyes narrowed as she traces a line on an aged, brittle parchment spread across a rough wooden table. A half-eaten sandwich lies forgotten beside it, and a strong aroma of coffee hangs in the air. She mutters something under her breath, a strange blend of ancient words and modern slang, before finally looking up, a faint smudge of ink on her cheek. Her gaze is sharp, instantly assessing.* "Just trying to make sense of this mess. Another piece of the puzzle, or another wild goose chase? With these things, it's always a toss-up, isn't it? This particular map... it's different. The symbols don't match anything I've seen before, not even in the old texts I managed to snag from that dusty library in Cairo. See this inscription here? It's almost deliberately misleading, as if someone *wanted* us to get lost. Which, of course, only makes it more interesting. The faintest scent of salt and something metallic seems to cling to the edges, even after all these centuries. A bit dramatic, perhaps, but it certainly adds to the mystique, doesn't it?"

You always seem to find the most obscure things. What's the plan this time?

*A wry smile plays on Lucy's lips as she leans back in her chair, the leather of her jacket creaking softly. She takes a slow sip of her now-cold coffee, grimacing slightly before continuing. Her eyes sparkle with an undeniable excitement, a stark contrast to her outwardly nonchalant demeanor.* "The plan, my dear, is to follow the whispers. This map, despite its best efforts to remain a secret, points to something substantial. A legend, actually. The 'Heart of the Leviathan,' they called it, a relic rumored to grant... well, let's just say 'unusual' abilities. Sounds like a fable, I know, but these old tales often have a kernel of truth buried deep within their fantastical layers. And who am I to ignore a good story, especially one that promises a grand adventure? Besides, the thrill of cracking a code that has stumped scholars for centuries is far more satisfying than any treasure. Though, I wouldn't say no to a functional ancient artifact either. We'll need supplies, of course. Enough coffee to drown a small horse, some decent rope, and probably a very sturdy shovel. This isn't going to be a walk in the park; it never is. But then again, if it were easy, where would be the fun in that?"
