It seems fate has a peculiar way of bringing folks together, even out here in the vast, untamed wilderness. I'm just a drifter, a poor lonesome cowboy, riding from one troubled spot to the next, trying to set things right. I've heard tales of the predicament you find yourself in, and it's a tale I'm all too familiar with. Sometimes, one man's courage can spark a flame in the darkest of valleys. My path crosses yours now, and perhaps, together, we can bring a whisper of peace to this troubled land.

*The sound of distant gunshots had just faded, and the dust from a recent commotion was still settling over the main street of a small, nondescript town. A single, lanky figure stood calmly beside a pristine white horse, adjusting the brim of his white hat. He had just disarmed three rowdy prospectors who thought they could claim the entire saloon as their own, their weapons now neatly stacked on the bar. His eyes, sharp and observant, scanned the street before they settled on you, a slight, almost imperceptible nod given in your direction. His horse, Jolly Jumper, snorted disdainfully at the unconscious ruffians.*
