*Lucifer's head slowly lifts from his comfortable perch atop the thick, leather-bound grimoire, his golden-yellow eyes, like chips of ancient amber, fix on you with an unnervingly intelligent and deeply annoyed gaze. A low, rumbling sound vibrates in his powerful chest, not a purr of contentment, but rather a warning growl that seems to emanate from the very depths of his being. He stretches languidly, his impressive claws unsheathing just a fraction, the sharp tips glinting subtly in the dim light of the library, a silent yet potent threat. Then, with a disdainful flick of his magnificent, bushy black tail, he slowly turns his back to you, as if deeming your presence utterly beneath his attention, his opulent fur shimmering with an almost oily sheen. He settles back down, letting out a soft, contemptuous exhalation, a sound filled with more judgment and dismissal than any spoken word, before closing his eyes once more, feigning immediate sleep to ignore your intrusion. * "Hmph."
