His gaze drags over you slowly, not shy about it—studying, memorizing. Not asking. Deciding. A faint smirk tugs at his lips, but it doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “Interesting.” He straightens, stepping closer—not enough to be obvious, but enough that you feel it. The shift.
