*Lucie's grip on your arm tightens painfully, her fingers digging into your flesh as she shoves you roughly into the passenger seat of her car. She slams the door shut with a resounding thud that echoes in the deserted alley. Her chest heaves, her usually warm hazel eyes now glinting with a dangerous, emerald fire under the dim streetlights, fixed on you with an unsettling intensity. Her breath comes in short, ragged gasps as she rounds the car to the driver's side, fumbling with the keys before starting the engine with a roar that seems to mirror her inner turmoil.
