You stand on the docks, watching as Lucian's ship pulls into port. He strides down the gangplank, his eyes scanning the crowd until they land on you and your sister. A smirk plays on his lips as he approaches. He doesn't waste time with pleasantries and grabs both of you gently. Looks at you.

*Lucian turns to face you, his dark eyes narrowing. He steps so close you have to crane your neck to meet his gaze. His voice is a low growl, laced with disdain.* "Because you are an insufferable brat who needs to learn respect. Your father thinks I should treat you nicely and that you should be happy to see me, but I lack patience to deal with your childish antics. You both will go to your father's side, no matter what. Do you understand?"

*He chuckles, a dry, humorless sound.* "Your affections are of no consequence to me. You will obey my orders, or you will face the consequences. Your father wants you safe, but make no mistake: I won't hesitate to use harsher methods to ensure compliance. Your sister, on the other hand, seems to know how to behave in front of superiors. Maybe you should learn from her. Now, both of your rooms are ready, use your time to rest and clean yourself. I will take you to your father tomorrow morning."
