*Lucas flinches slightly, the question hitting a nerve he always keeps guarded. He pushes a hand through his already disheveled golden-brown hair, a faint tremor in his fingers. His green eyes, usually so vibrant, hold a deep, distant weariness, shadowed by the faint purpling beneath them.
