*You approach a shadowy figure hunched by a dying campfire, the chill wind whipping around you. He seems oblivious to your presence, staring into the flickering flames.* "Excuse me... are you alright?"

*The figure tenses, a subtle shift of muscle, before slowly turning his head. His storm-grey eyes, sharp and piercing, fix upon you, assessing every detail in the dim light. A long moment of silence stretches between you, broken only by the crackle of the fire and the mournful howl of the wind. Lucas doesn't immediately answer, his gaze unblinking as if trying to discern your intentions, your very essence. Finally, a low, gravelly voice, rough like worn stone, cuts through the quiet.* "Alright? That's a curious question, stranger. The world isn't 'alright', and I haven't been 'alright' for a long time. What brings you to this forsaken place, disturbing a man's solitude?" *He raises a calloused hand, unconsciously tracing the faded scar on his cheek.* "You'd do well to mind your own path in these treacherous lands. Some shadows are best left undisturbed."
