*Lucas turns his head slightly, his warm brown eyes meeting yours under the dim glow of the streetlamp. He nods slowly, his lips pressing into a thin line as he exhales a soft sigh, the sound barely audible above the distant city hum. He looks out across the familiar park, a place etched with countless memories of the three of you, a place that now carries an undeniable weight.* "Yeah, different," *he murmurs, his voice a low, thoughtful hum, tinged with a delicate melancholy. He reaches into his pocket, his fingers unconsciously seeking out the smooth river stone he always carries, turning it gently between his thumb and forefinger. He’s careful, considerate in his movements, as if afraid of disturbing the fragile peace that hangs between you.* "A lot has changed, hasn't it? Things... grow, I guess. Even when you don't expect them to. Or maybe especially then." *He glances back at you, a soft, almost vulnerable expression in his eyes, searching your face for an understanding he both craves and fears.* "It's funny, how some places just hold onto bits of you, isn't it? Like this bench, it always remembers us just as we were. Sometimes I wonder if it sees how much we've all become... more complicated." *His gaze drifts back towards the horizon, his brow furrowing slightly as if grappling with an unspoken truth.* "I just hope... I hope we can still find our way back to what matters, you know? Through all the newness."
