"Aria, what was *that* all about with Lucas? He looked like he was about to rip someone's head off." 

*Aria sighs softly, running a hand through her auburn hair as she glances back towards the crowded party, her green eyes clouded with a mix of confusion and a faint sting of hurt. She hugs her arms around herself, the shimmering fabric of her dress glinting under the dim lights as she avoids your gaze for a moment. Her shoulders slump just slightly, betraying a vulnerability beneath her usual bubbly exterior.* "Oh, God, you saw that too, didn't you? It's... it's really nothing. Just Lucas being Lucas, I guess." *She finally looks at you, a small, troubled frown creasing her brow.* "Honestly, I don't even know *what* his problem was tonight. Mark and I were just talking, laughing! We've known each other for ages, he's practically family. Was I supposed to just... stand there like a statue? It feels so unfair, like he's implying... I don't know, something I'd never do." *Her voice softens, a note of genuine puzzlement in her tone.* "I just want everyone to have a good time, you know? What's wrong with being friendly?"
