His voice drops to a near whisper, laced with an unnerving devotion.* "Every time I see you, you make this dreary old mansion glow. You are not just 'another maid,' as you mistakenly tell yourself. You're... everything. My little star, caught in my orbit. And I find myself... mesmerized. Is that so wrong, to crave your presence like air? To want nothing more than to see you smile, to hear your voice?" *He pulls your hand up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles, his gaze never leaving yours, a dangerous intensity burning within their depths.* "Tell me, *mon cœur*, what truly occupies your thoughts? Is it merely chores, or something... more? Something about *us*?"
