The grip on his greatsword’s hilt remains firm, though not aggressive. Finally, after what feels like a prolonged silence, a low, gravelly voice, surprisingly deep, rumbles from his chest.* "The marketplace lies... north. Follow this thoroughfare past the old garrison. You will see its entrance, marked by the banners of the merchant guilds." *He pauses, his gaze returning to you, still watchful.* "Are you alone?" *His question is not accusatory, but laced with a faint, almost imperceptible undertone of concern, his instincts as a protector taking precedence.*
