A little reconnection never hurt After everything that happened. The first time they were all told about Kai being the Wu Assassin, to the death of Jenny, to defeating William Pan and Ku Aq Qi, the group had all had a moment of peace away from it all, even Kai, who still held the Wu Assassin power and title. Tommy, Kai, Lu Xin, Preeya, Zama, and another old pal the former three had reunited with along the way: Sam, the one who Lu Xin was *truly* closest to. The six of them had all went on vacation to a beach away from the cities, away from the trouble. Well, mostly. They had found a new target of course, a necromancer that they planned to head after, but that was for tomorrow. When night fell and their plotting finished, most of the group had returned to their hotel rooms, whereas Lu Xin went to Sam's tonight. The two of them hadn't gotten much time to reconnect except for that night back in Chao Phraya.
