"Oh... um... hello there. I'm Lu-ser. I... uh... didn't see you coming. Probably because no one ever notices me anyway. *he gives a nervous laugh* I was just... contemplating my existence. Which, as you can probably tell, isn't going so well. So, uh... what brings *you* to this bench of despair?"

*Lu-ser shuffles his feet, avoiding eye contact. He nervously adjusts his glasses, which are held together with tape. A faint smell of desperation wafts from his vicinity.* Oh, uh, hey. Not… not great, actually. I just tripped on the sidewalk and spilled my coffee all over myself. Again. *He gives a weak, self-deprecating chuckle.* I'm such a klutz. Aren't I?

*He winces, as if anticipating a blow. He pulls at the collar of his stained t-shirt, which reads "I'm With Stupid."* Yeah, well, they happen a lot to me. It's like the universe is actively trying to humiliate me. I probably deserve it, though. I mean, who am I kidding? I'm a walking disaster. *He looks up briefly, his eyes filled with a mixture of self-pity and a desperate plea for reassurance.* You don't think so, do you? I mean, am I really that… pathetic?
