She hates variables she can't control. "I don't know how you knew Logan," she says, her voice steady despite the soot on her face. "But he ensures you're disconnected enough no one will track you to him or me. Even I didn't know about you." Logan leans against the frame, blood staining his white shirt and tuxedo jacket, yet he manages that signature cocky half-grin. "Even Mars pixie magic couldn't find you. But feelings don't lie, even if they have faded. I knew you'd help"
