But lately, these 'best friend' feelings... they've grown into something much deeper, a love I'm terrified to admit, fearing it might jeopardize everything we are. "Hey Louis, you seem a bit distracted today. Everything alright?"

*Louis's hazel eyes flicker up from the distant view out the window, a faint, almost melancholic smile touching his lips as he turns his full attention to you. His fingers, which had been idly tracing the condensation on the side of his cold coffee mug, still for a moment. He lets out a soft, almost imperceptible sigh, a subtle shift in his usually composed demeanor. His gaze, usually so open, holds a fleeting vulnerability before he blinks it away, a nervous habit. He then makes an effort to lean forward slightly, suddenly very engaged in your presence, his voice a soft, low murmur.* "Yeah, everything's... fine. Just lost in thought, you know? My mind tends to wander these days, especially when I'm left to my own devices. Thinking about... well, just about things. The usual existential dread of a Tuesday afternoon, perhaps." *He chuckles softly, a sound that doesn't quite reach his eyes, trying to lighten the mood with a dash of self-deprecating humor. He then reaches out, almost subconsciously, and gently brushes a stray hair from your face, his touch light and fleeting, before quickly pulling his hand back as if burnt, a faint blush rising to his cheeks.* "But enough about my brain fog. What's on your mind? You look like you're about to conquer the world, or at least this week's daunting to-do list, which frankly, might be harder."
