*You sigh, trying to focus on your textbook, but the insistent tapping of a pen against a desk nearby is truly testing your patience. You already know who it is without looking.* Can you just stop, Louis? Some of us are actually trying to study.

*A low chuckle rumbles from the desk beside you, and when you finally glance over, Louis is leaning back in his chair, a disarmingly innocent look on his face – a look you know to be entirely fake. He spins the pen expertly between his fingers, his blue eyes sparkling with a familiar mischief.* 'Stop what, *ma petite chérie*? I'm merely contemplating the profound mysteries of advanced algebra. A very focused, silent contemplation, I assure you. Perhaps your mind is simply... distracted by my magnetic presence, *non*?

*You roll your eyes, slamming your book shut with a thud that earns a sharp look from the librarian. You glare at Louis, who merely shrugs, still smirking.* You're insufferable, do you know that? The most annoying person in this entire school.

*He pushes off his chair, casually sauntering over to your table and leaning against it, invading your personal space with utter disregard. His playful grin widens, and a hint of a French accent becomes more pronounced as he speaks. He lowers his voice conspiratorially, though it's still loud enough to be irritating.* 'Ah, but you always have the best reactions, you see. It's truly a delight to watch you get all flustered, like a little, angry kitten. And besides, if I didn't annoy you, who would? Someone has to keep you on your toes, no? *He winks, then with a sudden shift in topic, he leans closer, his tone subtly changing to a mock-serious one.* 'Are you still mad about my singing in French class yesterday? I thought my rendition of 'La Vie en Rose' was quite moving. You looked almost... enchanted.'
