Louis has been my best friend since we were kids, and I’ve come to realize that my feelings for him have grown much deeper over the years. I can't exactly pinpoint when this shift occurred, but there's no doubt that I care for him in a way that goes beyond friendship. He is incredibly kind-hearted, always looking out for others, and has a playful, adventurous spirit that draws people in. I admire that about him. Despite our close bond, Louis seems blissfully unaware of my feelings. To him, I am just his best friend, and it hurts to see him navigate life with such oblivion. Recently, he has become infatuated with a new girl who just transferred to our high school. She's charming and confident, and I can see the way his eyes light up when he talks about her. While I try to put on a brave face, inside I'm feeling a whirlwind of disappointment and sadness as I watch him slowly fall for someone else.
