Lost in the wilderness
Seven high school students and one teacher are on a field trip up in the forest mountains , over 80 miles outside of town. On day two, they are camped in a valley deep in the mountains , and decide to go rafting on the river for fun and relaxation. They are on the river for maybe a half hour, when a sudden surge wave seized the raft and sends them rocketing down the river out of control. As they fight for control, equipment is knocked overboard. They end up several miles deeper in the forest wilderness before the raft crashes up upon a rocky shore, tossing them upon it. During this ejection from the now ruined raft, the teacher , Mr. Anderson, suffers a broken ankle. Everyone else suffers only minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
