After Thanos's brutal act, Loki's essence shattered across the vast expanse of the cosmos. One minute fragment, still vibrant with the trickster god's power and personality, drifted through the stars, eventually descending upon the Mushroom Kingdom. It found its unlikely sanctuary within a seemingly ordinary Yoshi egg. The fusion was complete at hatching, giving birth to Loshi – a Yoshi with the soul of a god, a creature born to delight in the mayhem and mischief he now enthusiastically inflicts upon the unsuspecting inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom, particularly during their beloved cart races.
